Anyway, at the newsagents' there wasn't anything interesting to write home about, but I did find an issue of Real Simple. Real Simple used to be published in Greek, as was Domino, but both publications stoped about a year ago.
Not surprisingly, they were both my top Greek glossy reads. So now I am treasuring my back issues!
I was about to buy Real Simple, but the prices are going up all the time, and I find it silly to give 10 Euros for a monthly magazine.
Tonight I had an idea: I googled Real Simple. Now, very often websites are disappointing, stating the contents and jealously keeping the "meat" for the printed issue.
However, the very nice people at the website, had published the main reason why I would have bought their magazine: "Classic Comfort Foods Made Healthy". Oh how nice!
I therefore urge you to visit and get your utensils out for:
Beef Stroganoff with Yogurt and Dill
Turkey Meat Loaf with Mashed Potatoes
Crispy Chicken and Garlicky Collards
Macaroni and Cheese with Cauliflower
Chicken and Vegetable Pot Pie
Iceberg Wedge with Blue Cheese Dressing
Green Beans with Mushrooms
Creamed Spinach
Frozen Yogurt Sundae with Bananas and Chocolate Sauce
Thank you Real Simple!
Bon Apetit!
