I'll be watching you!

It is at moments like these that I miss the Internet most.
But there is nothing I can do about it. So I'll have to stick to my traditional TV set tonight and zap here and there and see what goes on in the States.

I'll probably receive some calls, too, and make a couple. No land line, yet. I am thankful to whoever thought of mobile phones. If you post on your blogs, I'll be watching you, too! (I have to teach myself mobile blogging, I think!)

Timetables are in the newspapers today, taking into account the time differences. This one says what State to watch for from midnight to 5a.m.

I covered the 1992 Presidential Elections as a reporter. I had just landed in Greece and I had to edit the interviews with the Greek-American community, then work with the American expats. Rush back and forth, edit, hit "air", and most of all stay awake until 7a.m. the next morning. It is one of my most memorable memories, better even than covering Greek elections that were at the time more passionate and colorful. But the States outdid Greek elections this time. Everyone is passionate about them, even though they may not have set foot on America, or not know what is at stake at the home front.

Pray. Vote. And let us hope that God will Bless America.
