Hello,
It is paint time for our home! I hope that painting will be done nicely and properly by the end of May.

I have posted more photos here! Come tell me what you think!

Beautiful finds

I so much like beautiful things. I think they are an ode to life, a thank you to the beauty Nature bestowed upon us. And when someone comes up with a beautiful idea or a new take on an old one, I am ready to applaud.
I found these wooden letters on-line at Pink Taffy Designs (Click on image to view).
Spring Green Wall Letters
They are great for personalising a child's room, but I wouldn't mind having one made for my study!

And these prints from Sweet Arts can be personalised to decorate a child's bedroom or desk. Of course they may also be used as an inspiration for numerous projects involving elder children, and they are great as gifts.

I shall definitively be using this in a client's project.

Discoveries

It takes so long to get people to notice! The current issue of a Greek mag run an article on Tricia Guild. But most people don't know anything about her or Designers Guild.
Hurray! I am a pioneer!

About my work

I usually do not write about my work, as those of you kind people who stop by and keep me company, know. I have tried to fight this shyness of mine when it comes to speaking about what I do. It is bad for my self-esteem and for my work. I have done some progress, but it usually shows when I am at my best. When I'm not, I become shy again...
The reason I blog about it today, is that the pictures I am going to show you have already been published on the net, so I feel more comfortable showing them here.

This is a boutique hotel in a mountainous village in Northern Greece. It's a long trip but when you get there the fresh mountainous air is worth it! Love walking in the little stone paved walks.

Stairway...

...and some deco. Some greek folk art and daily use antiques collected over time and some new reproductions made locally.
A room view. All natural mattresses, top mattresses, pillows, comforters, etc. from our shop, made from natural rubber, organic cotton, all natural wool treated with cedar -no chemical moth killers, and all organic bed linen.

Favorite winter vista.

Task complete!
