So, here are 7 things about me you do not know already!

1. I love tags and memes. I am the one who does the quizzes in mags with genuine enthusiasm. My daughters have taken after me! But I guess you've guessed that one already, so let's move on to 1a!
1a.I love the color yellow. Brown, beige, some coral red and some navy blue come next.

2.I am Greek on both sides of my family. The first direct ancestor to walk on American soil did so in the 1920s. You can read a little bit about her here.
3.What is in my US luggage? To me America is both Shaker and Ralph Lauren. Simultaneously.Open hearted fragrances. The American pioneer spirit and the American family values. Oh, and Lilly Pulitzer!

4. My grandfather was exporting oranges and olive oil from his and my grandmother's family estate to England. He was later ordained as a Greek Orthodox priest. He ministered in England till the end of his life.
5.In my English luggage: The glorious English countryside, afternoon tea and whimsy in all things, like dressing and humor.
6.My best childhood friend is French. We have known each other since 1983. Many funny things happen to us. Like we gave birth simultaneously and called at the same time to let each other know the results!

7.My ideal summer evening includes sipping ouzo at a quiet tavern by the beach. The Greek skies are unbelievable, both day and night.
